How Can I Apply For a distance learning Course in UK?

A good distance learning program is one, which meets your needs.
Many Universities enable students to enroll into their University and attain their degree without going to the UK. This is done through Distance Learning Program .Distance learning offers students choice and flexibility with minimal disruptions to career and family commitments. It is suitable for those who cannot or do not wish to make a commitment to study on full time basis.

Students can test and apply their new skills as they progress through the course and employers can gain immediately from their increased knowledge and capability. However, it takes motivation, commitment and effective time management. Applicants should be prepared to work alone with only limited access to lecturers, tutors and fellow students.

What type of specialists are being recruited in Germany?

IT-specialists in the information and communications technology sector are needed - for example, software and multi-media developers and programmers, circuit and IT-system developers, IT-consultants, and systems, Internet, and network specialists.

Can I transfer my credits to a UK institution?

Credits are usually transferred when the institute that you are studying in Pakistan is affiliated with some institution in the UK. You will apply through UCAS. When you apply through UCAS you select 6 universities and your courses. You can select the universities on the web site, www.ucas.com

After you have selected the Universities you will have to mail them and request them for a credit transfer. If they allow it then you can apply and then fill the form accordingly.

Can I work in the UK?

Yes you can. Every student is allowed to work 20 hours per week and any number of hours on holidays.

How many IT specialists will be allowed to come to Germany?

After 10,000 work permits have been issued, a monitoring procedure is to be carried out to determine if there is further need for another 10,000 computer specialists.

What are the Required IELTS bands for Higher Education in UK?

Every University has their own required band, you will need to check the prospectus for exact details. However the standard required band should be as follows:

For Postgraduation:       7 - 7.5
For Undergraduation:    6 - 6.5
For Further Education:  5 - 5.5

Has special registration of Pakistanis for USA totally ended?

No. The NSEERS (National Security Entry Exit Registration System) Special Registration is still continuing while entering and exiting the United States. Only the 30 to 40-day re-registration and the annual re-registration have been suspended only for those whose re-registration deadlines fell after December 2, 2003.

If I reach the airport late and do not have time before the flight to register, is there any relief available.?

No. According to the law governing special registration, the responsibility for finding adequate time for departure registration lies with the individual and not with the US government. In the scenario described above, it is better to miss the flight and take the next available one. Failure to register on departure will make you inadmissible into the United States upon return. Already, many Pakistanis have faced immense problems because of carelessness in this regard.

I came from Pakistan on Pakistani passport, which I subsequently surrendered to get British passport. Can I get a Pakistani passport now?

Your case will be referred to Pakistan because when you surrendered your old Pakistani passport in favour of British passport, you gave up Pakistani citizenship. After approval from Pakistan, which takes about 6-8 weeks, you will be issued a new Pakistani passport.
